3D Polarization Azimuth Mapping with Multifractal Analysis:
Unveiling New Dimensions in Tissue Biopsy
报告人:Yurii Ushenko教授
Abstract:We introduce a 3D Stokes polarization-based approach, setting a new standard for the quantitative assessment of biopsy tissue samples. The method represents a seamless integration of statistical moments analysis, encompassing 1st to 4th orders, with multifractal analyses, employing the sophisticated wavelet transform modulus maxima method. This integration allows for the meticulous processing of complex polarization-based optical data, pushing the boundaries of current capabilities of modern tissue polarimetry. The core of the proposed methodological advancement is exemplified in the thorough detailed examination of polarization azimuth mappings within the histological tissue samples. We achieved diagnostic precision up to 97%, a significant milestone that underscores the potential of the approach in revolutionizing diagnostic clinical practices. The introduction of 3D polarization azimuth mapping for tissue architectonics analysis signifies a pivotal shift, offering new avenues for improving diagnostic accuracy across various research and medical fields.
