报告摘要:Let be (semi-algebraic) -functions () and assume that is non-negative on the set Under some natural hypotheses on zeros of in , we show that is expressible in the form , where each is a sum of squares of (semi-algebraic) -functions. As a consequence, we derive global optimality conditions which generalize the Karush-Kuhn-Tucker optimality conditions for nonlinear optimization. This is joint work with Si-Tiep Dinh.
报告人简介:Tien-Son Pham,越南大叻大学(Dalat University)教授,博士生导师,长期从事奇异理论、半代数优化、变分分析等研究工作,在Mathematical Programming, SIAM Journal on Optimization, Mathematics of Operations Research等优化顶级期刊发表学术论文70余篇,出版学术专著1部。2020年获越南科技部颁发的Ta Quang Buu奖,并入选2021年度“亚洲百位杰出科学家”榜单(该榜单由亚洲科学家杂志自2016年起每年评选,表彰在科研领域取得重大突破或获得国家级/国际奖项的科学家)。现任越南高等数学研究所科学理事会(Scientific Council)成员。
